The Centre for Mediterranean, Middle East and Islamic Studies (CEMMIS) of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese organises the next e-lecture in the series The Middle East after the Gaza war: Ziad Bahaa Eldin on “Egyptian foreign policy after October 7”

Ziad Bahaa Eldin’s résumé:
Dr. Ziad Ahmed Bahaa-Eldin is an Egyptian lawyer and expert on financial, investment and corporate law, governance, compliance, and economic legislation. He is currently the Managing Partner of “Bahaa-Eldin Law Office in Cooperation with BonelliErede”, and Senior of Counsel of “Thebes Consultancy”.He previously held several public positions in Egypt including Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development and Minister of International Cooperation (2013-2014) and Member of Parliament representing South Assiut (2012). He has been – since 2011 – a weekly economic commentator first in Al-Shorouk newspaper, then in Al-Masry Al-Yom, both Egyptian daily newspapers. He contributes occasionally to other Arab and international publications.
