The Centre for Mediterranean, Middle East and Islamic Studies (CEMMIS) of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese organised the next e-lecture in the series The Middle East after the Gaza war: Dr. Daud Abdullah on “Al Aqsa Flood and the realignment of global forces for Palestine”

Both the e-lecture and the discussion was conducted in English. The online event took place on Thursday, June 27 (7:30 p.m. Athens time, UTC+3).

Daud Abdullah’s résumé:

Dr. Daud Abdullah is the director of Middle East Monitor (MEMO). He lectured in history at the University of Maiduguri in Nigeria and Islamic Studies at Birkbeck College, University of London. He was a senior researcher at the Palestinian Return Centre, London, and deputy secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain. He is the author of Engaging the World: The Making of Hamas’s Foreign Policy.
