Dr. Ziad Ahmed Bahaa-Eldin is an Egyptian lawyer and expert on financial, investment and corporate law, governance, compliance, and economic legislation. He is currently the Managing Partner of \u201cBahaa-Eldin Law Office in Cooperation with BonelliErede\u201d, and Senior of Counsel of \u201cThebes Consultancy\u201d.He previously held several public positions in Egypt including Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development and Minister of International Cooperation (2013-2014) and Member of Parliament representing South Assiut (2012). He has been – since 2011 – a weekly economic commentator first in Al-Shorouk newspaper, then in Al-Masry Al-Yom, both Egyptian daily newspapers.
