regional balance lectureThe Centre for Mediterranean, Middle East and Islamic Studies (CEMMIS) of the University of the Peloponnese organises an e-lecture by Dr. Ahmad Jamil Azem, member of the PLO Palestinian Central council, and Chief Editor of the PLO Journal Shuun Falistaniyyah (Palestinian Affairs) on:

 

 

 

 

"Regional balance in the Middle East and the Palestinian Question"

 

Both the e-lecture and the discussion will be conducted in English.

Ahmad Jamil Azem's résumé:

Ahmad Jamil Azem is a member of the PLO Palestinian Central council, and Chief Editor of the PLO Journal Shuun Falistaniyyah (Palestinian Affairs). He is an assistant Professor of Political Science in Birzeit University.
Holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Edinburgh in the UK in Conflict Resolution. He was a Senior Fellow at the School of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cambridge. He worked for about ten years at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research in Abu Dhabi. Has authored and co authored around 20 books and research papers.
For 15 years, Azem was a columnist in several newspapers.
